Mark's career at John Hancock began in the Agricultural Investment Department in 1978 in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for originating and managing agricultural mortgages, managing company-owned properties, and marketing agricultural commodities. Mark has been responsible for managing John Hancock's investments in the Transportation sector since 1986, having served as Team Leader for the broader Transportation/Heavy Industrial Team since 2000 and most recently having been appointed as head of the Food Team in 2009. During his 30 year career at John Hancock, Mark has been actively involved in financing aircraft, airport infrastructure, aerospace and defense facilities, railway terminals and rail equipment, auto manufacturing facilities, and container ships. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University.
